Just dropping a quick note to say that TWO EXCITING THINGS are happening this week!
🎤✨ Number One: The Album Launch Show
I am performing this Thursday (March 6th) in London at SJQ. This is most likely going to be the one headline show I do with a full band this year, and if you miss it, you miss out!
I know we have all been in hibernation mode but I do feel like spring is gettin’ ready for the spranging and it’s high time we get out and socialise again. Preferably at my event lmao.
Yesterday I rehearsed with the band for the first time and it’s sounding SO GOOD, if I do say so myself. ‘Olivia Rafferty’ like you’ve never heard her before!
Putting on shows nowadays is a feat of co-ordination and financial backing, so thank you to my Kickstarter backers whose contributions will allow me to pay the band and all other involved parties a decent fee.
It would mean the world to me if you could come (if it is geographically convenient for you!). Like, honestly. I truly truly truly do mean it and this night is going to be the showing-off of 3 years hard work. It’s a very big deal for me and I am going to give you SUCH A GOOD SHOW oh my god yes I am.

It’s finally happening!
It’s been 3 years since I started writing Typical Forever, on this newsletter (this is why I started a Substack in the first place, to share my ideas and demos for this geology album).
It’s been 2 years since I got funding from the Geologist’s Association, which started this ball rolling.
It’s been almost 1 year since I ran my Kickstarter, and shared this world with you all.
And now…
It’s almost here.
Here’s a sneak peek of one of my favourite unreleased tracks from the record:
