also reg the dream machine: it reminded me very much of dream journals which never worked for me as i then either proceeded to dream a blend of everything together for a while or wouldn’t enjoy dreaming anymore cause it felt like the freedom & joy in them were gone
that's so interesting -- i always found when i kept a dream journal i'd dream more and have more vivid dreams. at one point in my life they were very clearly sending me warning signals about someone (which i obviously ignored lol). it was hard to keep up though but if i have an especially interesting or good dream i do try to write about it.
This made me feel so nostalgic for things I'd half-forgotten - why was everyone swimming with dolphins? Do they still do it so much now? I miss having so much time for daydreaming like I did as a child, even though I used to always get in trouble for it at school! As an adult, I often feel like my imagination has to be ‘productive’ in some way. The line about Goofy having a French accent made me smile :)
I’m just sitting here marveling at that collage! 👽
awh thank you! had to look high and low for the perfect picture of a dolphin...
It is quite perfect, if you ask me 🌝
