This is the best "I have a new song" post I've seen in a long long long time, and I've been doing this a long long long time. And I also want to be a car.

That’s lovely. I often wonder how artists pick up audiences reaction to a very new song. The artist is probably concentrating more than normal to not forget the words and chords and the audience don’t know the song or what to expect.

Last October I went to see Courtney Marie Andrews at a small church, not much bigger than the Green Note, and she introduced a new song she had just written. I found my foot tapping soon into the song and looking across from my side pew noticed much of the crowd doing likewise. I did wonder if she had picked up that it was a winner. Can’t recall the name of course.

Very nice. Reminds me of when I drove across Texas helping a friend move from New Orleans to New Mexico and there was just open highway going on and on and on. Late at night, as the conversation petered out, I remember turning on the radio for some music, country, bluegrass anything really. So I pressed search and all I got was Hisssssssssssssssssss. We were so far from anywhere, I could not even get a radio station. Talk about feeling the vast expanse.

Thanks for sharing. I do appreciate it.

PS: Mixed by water, wind and time, is something I might have written, and might yet still if I can find a place and time to fit it.
