Mustard’s human intern would order a roobius tea. It is so comforting to them. They first had it at this wonderful local restaurant called Cafemantic. It is where they spent a lot of time during their undergrad.

They are looking forward to speaking with more humans about their music and relaxing on the shelf. Perhaps a human will throw me into their cart or basket.

I woul order a Chai Latte in my favourit Cafe here in my hometown. They have three versions; one sweeter one, the normal version (I don't know, how these two are called, because...) I order the TIGER chai! It is spicey and I love it. (I'm a tiger in chinese horoscope). Next weekend I will meet my former collegues from school, we celebrate 30 years Abitur (similar to IB-Diploma says google). I have mixed feelings. ALot of mixed feelings. But we will have a nice time in the end. (or I will just run away) What's making me happy? Drawing, making collages and making a blue face every day (kind of my follow up to the morning pages) I have searched for a artsy, daily routine and I think I have found one in painting a blue face every day. I am adorning them with goldfoil, wich gives them a glow. I love it. I am looking forward to visit my family soon. :)

School reunions are always weird! I love seeing my close school friends but I've been invited to ones organised by the school itself and I haven't gone to one yet... I always imagine myself running out of things to talk about with people that I only half-remember haha! Love the blue face daily painting idea-- must be easier to do than 3 pages of writing each morning?

Hello! Please may I have a coconut matcha latte and I think I'll be sticking around for a bit so can I also have a hot chocolate in a bit please, thank you so much. I'm loving the sunshine, London is crispy and cold and on the weekend I walked around St James's Park and picked up pretty leaves and then watched a squirrel burying a nut. I'm looking forward to another week and leaning into Autumn more, watching the seasons change is something I'm experiencing in a new and lovely way this year.

I went on a quick grocery run today. Bought spinach, deodorant, mixed nuts, tea bags, tamarind candy for my sister. (And dinner, too.)

When I got home, I found that someone else's groceries were in my bag, on top of my groceries. So I now also have a bag of arugula, a bag of mixed salad, and 60 grams of Australian beef.

I'll have a decaf mocha, please—it's half past six in the evening where I am.

And I am looking forward to flying to Hong Kong this weekend! It's why I got my sister tamarind candy—she's looking after my cat.

It's a work trip, and I'm also looking after my senior colleagues... but at least I get to eat in one of my favorite cities.

Ooooh, Australia! Reminds me of daydreaming of visiting Sydney. Went semi-serious, and then fell into a relationship, and twelve years later, it's still a daydream, haha.

1. I'm ordering a black coffee - I've been on a sort of ascetic kick for the past few weeks. Some connection between self-discipline and agency and free will etc etc.

2. Every Oct/Nov it's super warm in San Francisco which always gives me climate anxiety but then suddenly it gets really cold, which makes me happy, but also cold. The cold came last week and I hear we have an atmospheric river coming, so these are the last dry days before it rains for a few weeks straight.

3. Taking long runs to the beach has been making me happy lately! I don't always run but I rediscover running every couple years so I've been on that lately. Getting to know new friends has also been making me happy. Drinking in dive bars. Wiping down the counters after doing the dishes. My new slacks I got tailored. Hot soup for dinner.

1. I would go with an iced cappuccino along with a donut (surprise me with the flavor).

2. In Buffalo, NY things have been pretty quiet. Most of the leaves have already fallen down at this point, and there is no lake effect snow in the forecast. Does make me wonder when the first snow will happen, and whether I will be buried in it.

At least today is a sunny, albeit chilly, day. I am planning to go to the store today to pick up some groceries. Planning to make steak soup in the crockpot and blueberry muffin bread this week.

3. There's a number of things that I'm looking forward to. My favorite artist, Aurora, is heading to the States on her tour and she's making a stop in New York City in December. Hopefully this time it works out. Back in 2022 I couldn't quite get the logistics together, but now I feel I could handle it, especially since I'd take the train down and I took a train to Albany earlier this year by myself.

I'm also looking forward to working with my district's assembly person to draft some legislation to make the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower an officially recognized symbol throughout the State.

Okay I'm going to recommend my favourite donut, which is a Creme Brulee donut from Tantrum Donuts in Glasgow, Scotland.

Blueberry muffin bread sounds unreal. Is it more bread, or more muffin?

In the UK the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is widely recognised by a lot of different companies and places (public transport, hospitals, certain offices etc). Good luck drafting some legislation! That sounds exciting and would be great if you had a hand in making something like that.

For the blueberry muffin bread I'm following a recipe by Sally's Baking Addiction: https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/blueberry-muffin-bread/

It's classified as a "quick" bread, as it doesn't have yeast in it. So I guess it would be more like a muffin.

I'll have to research if there are any places local to me that have creme brulee donuts.
