Hi friends,
Man. I have to be honest: my attention has been spread thinly over the last few weeks, like the last shred butter over a thick slice of sourdough. And the well of ideas for weekly emails has dried up a wee bit!
Here’s the thing though: I am always making something. And I have SO many things which I’ve made in the past which are worth sharing. So, every so often, I’m going to share with you something from the archive.
Today I took out one of my old hard drives and had a look through its contents. There’s a lot of stuff on here which is fun! There is also a lot of stuff on there which need never see the light of day (see: techno Simply Red cover from 2012). I thought I would share one of the fun things with you today. If you are a fan of Cher, and like me, ~believe in life after love~, then you are in good company. Or should I say, do you believe in afterlife after love?? Oh ho ho ho!
‘Believe’ is my airplane toilet song. Let me explain what I mean by that. During long haul flights, I will get up at periodic intervals with my headphones and go into the toilet cubicle and dance to ‘Believe’ just to get the blood flowing and refresh my aura a bit. It is a good trick and I think I learned it on someone’s Tumblr blog back in 2012. You can’t do any major moves but just wiggling around in the cubicle is enough to feel energized again.
I’m going to Australia in November so I will be sure to employ the Airplane Toilet Song initiative whilst I’m in the air.
