Social media platforms made us think we must always be documenting and sharing the journey, but we're allowed to resist, and rest, and stop adding to the unending stream of distractions and updates.
Right. You have people in your email list right now, right? What, are they going to unsubscribe because you don’t email them every week? What if you just show up one week and you have a new thing for sale? Or a new song to announce? Those people will dig it, and they’ll be happy to hear from you.
I loved the way you wrote about your block! Not being ready to discuss what you're going through is a part of the process. I'm sure it'll make sense eventually!
I don't write about all of my struggles, so I tend to write about the old ones... so people think I haven't moved on. But I have, but I don't want to be public with them just yet.

I have a block. that's it. An "everything" block.

I truly love
what you just wrote about
not writing.
And secret things.
And notebooks filling up with songs.
And tea.

I think I feel this too, Olivia.
