🍰 Thing #2
I need your help!!!
Okay, real honesty-wonesty time here. I have been wanting to go paid on this newsletter for a LONG TIME but haven’t managed to pull the plug (or put in the plug? start the plug? I don’t know) just yet. Also I accidentally gave 1/10 of you a lifetime paid subscription on a whim and I need to figure out how to fix that because I didn’t mean to do that lol.
But back to the question at hand! I wanted to survey y’all about it first. My dearest readers, ride-or-dies and internet roomies.
If you were to pay for ~extra materials~ for this newsletter…
I would really love to start doing some workshops and stuff both in-person and online anyway (something is coming soon for online folks!), but really want to test the waters first.
Is there something you’d love to learn from me?
How to write songs? Write better songs? Write stupider songs? Do you want to know how to build research and depth for your creative projects? Do you wanna know how to do newsletters and social media in a way which feels non-icky and creatively freeing? Is there something else I’m good at that I don’t even know about!?
I would love to hear your thoughts below! 📝
Okay that’s all for now! Regular programming on the newsletter this Thursday.
Be good,
Olivia ✨🎲
I think workshops would be nice. Having seen some of your stuff on Instagram, you have the leeway to go beyond the songwriting and creative process... lots of it is mind games, as you'd know!
I'm a pretty recent adopter of the Olivia Rafferty newsletter lifestyle (got a tip from Kevin Alexander), so I can't be of much help today. I've been trying to work up the courage to make a shift like this on my own substack, so I really appreciate the chance to learn from how you end up doing it!
